Tell someone about on-site accommodation along with the description „box style“, and you’ll usually not harvest much enthusiasm. Unlike the familiar containers utilised as office space and living quarters on regular construction sites around the globe, this innovative temporary housing scheme stands for a comfy hotel arrangement rather than the interim solution it actually is.
The name’s Snoozebox. Each daily serviced room features an en-suite wet room with shower, basin and WC and is equipped with quality towels and toiletries, comfortable beds, air conditioning, flat-screen TV, free WiFi and a personal safe. Living in this box may well be an option.
The flexible configurations of the system come in especially handy for organisers of major events and festivals taking place away from an existing hotelscape. Self-contained and operated independent of mains services, Snoozebox claims to be fully operational and ready to welcome guests within days of arriving at almost any event or location worldwide.
A highly adaptable turn-key solution
For set-up, neither the provision for electricity, water or sewerage is required nor a flat terrain. The stackable container units can be positioned in an array of configurations, whereby reasonable topographical discrepancies are easily compensated. To avoid surprises, a survey team delivers a suitability report before any Snoozebox is erected at the chosen site – for one day (although minimum charge is for three), a week, a month or for an entire season. The hotel will be operated by own staff who are on hand for assistance at all times. Check-in is through a dedicated reception unit.
Rapid assembly, minimum disruption
Snoozebox is easily transportable by road, rail or air, breakdown and build-up are simple and quick. Themeing or branding with team or sponsor logos, 3D visuals, full catering, hospitality and entertainment for all budgets may also form part of the package. If so desired, established ticket and accommodation agencies will market and process the bookings.
